MUI to Ban Santri Loka

Indonesian Ulema Council or MUI plans to make a fatwa on Santri Loka, a new Islamic sect based in Mojokerto, East Java. MUI has made a serious talk with clerics from Nahdhatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah.

The sect now has more than 200 followers. Ahmad Naf'an, the sect leader has probably been crazy, stating that Arabians have modified the true teaching of Islam. Qur'an has been changed. All the Surahs in it were created by Arabian people; the people of Santri Loka think that there are only four surahs in Qur'an: Al-Falaq, Annas, Al-Ihlas and Al-Fatihah.
