Two members of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Bibit Samad Rianto and Chandra Muhammad Hamzah, are in hot water. They are being investigated by police. Newspapers and news portal sites talk about them ceasely and many of them experience misspelling errors in mentioning their names. Here are the most common errors found in the internet:
Bibit Samad RiantoThere are three words in his name. Often the first word is spelled mistakenly as Bibid, Bibiet or Bibet, while the word Samad sounds almost similar to Slamet, Selamet or Selamat. People also frequently do spelling mistakes in saying Rianto. It is especially exchanged with the word Riyanto, Ryanto, Arianto or Aryanto.
Chandra M HamzahSometimes it is hard to differentiate Chandra from Candra. Both are pronounced the same. So is Hamzah. Very often people misspell Hamzah as Hamsah, both of which are pronunced nearly the same. The word Muhamad -- and sometimes Mohamed-- , however, is shortened as M so there is a small number of possibilities in doing spelling errors in that name.
So have you spelled their names correctly?
